“If the ends kink up, look frizzy or frayed, do not lighten your hair,” stresses Kerry E. Yates, founder of Colour Collective and trichologist in training. For instance, Nikki Goddard, a certified hairstylist and makeup artist, says to not be fooled by products with a “peroxide-free” label. You might be tempted to bleach your own hair, which is when you strip the hair of your color to make it lighter. Be forewarned that if you push your root touch up beyond six weeks, it "will become very difficult, if not impossible, to achieve that cool, toned blonde most double processes aspire to have," says Haight. "Hair typically grows a half-inch per month," says Lee, who strongly recommends a root touch-up at four to six weeks.

Though it still needs to be mixed with a developer, the smooth, moist consistency, chamomile flower extract, and sunflower seed oil helps condition and soften your hair while it's being treated. Not only that, but it contains keratin to replenish and strengthen each strand. We just wish it didn’t contain PEGs, which have been linked to cancer. If you’re hoping for a fullproof way to create natural-looking lustrous highlights, this moisturizing formula won’t let you down. If you need more advice on how to bleach your hair at home, you can always speak to a hair professional. Another advantage of going to a professional salon is that they can do an after-color treatment, which is a great way to prevent damage.

The hair should lift to a banana-yellow color, not orange or red (unless that's the look you are going for). You can also spray down the hair with a water bottle to prevent the bleach from lifting further. Understanding how to bleach your hair properly, picking the right products, and curating a reparative haircare routine can all help lessen the negative effects. With that said, if your hair is already showing severe signs of damage, you may want to table your hair color dreams until your locks can better withstand a round of bleach. However, there are a number of things you can do before and after you bleach your hair to lessen and even repair that damage. Last but not least, the type of developer (hydrogen peroxide that aids in the bleaching process) you use can influence how long bleach should remain on your hair. Developer is available in different volumes; lower volumes typically require a longer time to work their magic, and vice versa for higher volumes. Be sure to read (and re-read) the instructions on the box for a more accurate look at how long to leave your lightener on. Whether you’re toying with going blonde or are ready to swap your espresso mane for a trendy pastel pink, your transformation will likely require a round (or two) of hair bleach. You may think visiting a colorist is the only way to achieve the shade pinned to your vision board, but that’s far from the only option nowadays.

Once you’ve safely bleached your hair at home, preserve your new hair color by adapting your haircare routine to suit your boxed hue. Use the scoop provided in your Ugly Duckling bleach to measure out the bleach and the developer. The recommended bleach to developer ratio is 1 part bleach to 2 parts developer. Which means there is much less scalp irritation when you apply. Brilliant Blondexx would also be the best for most on-scalp applications. Before placing bleach all over the hair, Dorram says to strip-test a small piece of hair below the ear. "Leave the bleach on for the time instructed, and make sure you like the results." She recommends doing the same with toner. Hair bleaching is exactly what it sounds like using hair bleach (not household bleach) to lighten the hair's color. While bleaching your hair may sound fun and simple, it's anything but that. Dorram says people usually choose to bleach their hair at home because of budget. "Some people do not prioritize hair color in their beauty budget. Hair color is the least invasive way to look your best." The other reason for at-home bleaching is the convenience factor.

What happens if you leave bleach on your hair for too long?

If you do need to use heat, follow AAD’s recommended guidelines of turning them to their lowest setting (and never skipping the heat protectant, of course). Minimizing your hair’s exposure to stressors can help ensure your strands are strong enough to come out of the bleaching process with minimal damage. They provide real-life feedback on resulting hair shine, softness and smoothness, as well as color fade over four weeks after application. The two most widely used bleaches are ammonia and hydrogen peroxide. Unfortunately, there aren’t many alternative products to help avoid damage. This article will give you advice on how to bleach your hair at home, including how long you should leave it on your hair, and how to avoid irreversible damage.

Hydrogen peroxide is a natural lightening agent and can be used to lighten your hair a few shades. To use hydrogen peroxide to lighten your hair, mix one part hydrogen peroxide with two parts water. Apply the mixture to your hair, focusing on the darker areas, and let it sit for 30 minutes. Opting for a hair bleach kit can simplify the bleaching process, especially if you’re a novice. Kits usually include the exact formula you need so that there’s less room for error than there would be when DIYing your lightener. Kits also typically provide you with the necessary tools, like a plastic bowl, an application brush, and latex gloves—but read the box carefully to make sure.

In general, healthy virgin hair tends to lighten more quickly since it hasn’t undergone any chemical processing. First-timers should be especially cautious about letting bleach sit for longer than necessary. The same goes for fine hair types, as fine strands lift faster than thick or coarse ones. Bleaching clean and unwashed hair yields the same color results, but many stylists recommend the latter for those with sensitive skin. Applying bleach to unwashed hair allows your scalp’s natural oils to build up over a few days. This natural lubrication may act as a protective barrier between your scalp and the bleach, reducing potential irritation.

This nourishing treatment protects hair against temperatures up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and offers up to 48 hours of frizz control. If possible, bleach your hair in a well-lit and well-ventilated area. To avoid staining, cover exposed surfaces with old towels or newspapers.

Your hair could turn white from the oxidation process, de-coloring the pigment. In addition to leaving bleach on your hair for too long, there are other dangers related to using this type of dye. Brown eyes are one of the most common eye colors in the world.

It spreads smoothly and offers up to seven levels of controlled, precise lift. This product takes a little longer to process and is intended for professional use only, so work with your stylist for the best results. All hair color fades, but it's especially noticeable with fantasy colors. These color-depositing conditioners from Overtone are an easy way to keep less natural shades vibrant. Made in a wide array of fun and pretty colors, it's intended to replace your normal daily conditioner to maintain unique hair color (though isn't meant to conceal grays). While it’s more expensive, you’re paying for results — you’re more likely to leave the salon with the color you wanted and less damage thanks to their high-quality professional products.

She interviewed multiple experts for this story, including two celebrity colorists and one color specialist, who offered insight into usage and product recommendations. Next, she reviewed many formulas, combed through ingredients lists, and referenced several scholarly articles before landing on the final selections. To use baking soda and vinegar, mix together 1 tablespoon of baking soda with 1 cup of vinegar. Leave the bleach in for the recommended amount of time (usually no more than 20 minutes). The first step is to mix the hydrogen peroxide and ammonia together. It is important to do this in a well-ventilated area, as the fumes can be dangerous. Be sure to mix the ingredients well, as they will need to be combined with the developer later. Separate the hair into four large sections (two in the back and two on top) with a comb or the handle of a color brush.

Watch carefully and rinse when done, and rinse anyway after minutes. The finer and more consistent your sections, the better a lifting result you will get. Remember, in most cases you need to try & achieve a very pale yellow - level 9 or 10.

"Healthier hair always fares better during the bleaching process because it can withstand the damage that hair color causes," she says. "I've seen clients come into the salon with chunks of hair that split off and break because the hair was so weak from at-home coloring." Follow the instructions from your chosen hair bleach and combine the pre-portioned lightener and developer in a bowl.

“It keeps fibers in the hair strong without having to use a higher-volume developer," he adds. Although it’s not designed for DIY use, many reviewers report great results with at-home use. While salon coloring and at-home dye jobs provide the same general result (different colored hair) the former tends to have a better outcome—especially when it involves bleach. This is partly because stylists are trained and experienced in how to correctly (and evenly) lighten hair to the level it needs to be to produce the resulting color you want.

In total, Lab scientists exposed colored hair samples to UVA light for 800 hours and tallied 2,712 consumer survey responses. It outperformed other custom-color kits at being simple to use and not messy, having an unobtrusive scent, not causing irritation and resisting fading. In GH Beauty Lab testing, experts found that Clairol Nice 'n Easy was the best pick for light hair and has a gentler, more conditioning formula.

For starters, please make sure you're working in a well-ventilated room and wearing a mask. "It's a good idea to invest in a professional coloring cape to keep your clothes clean," Olivia suggests. If your client's hair is dark blonde/light brown (level 5-6), aim at around 30 minutes using 30 Vol developer. A deep conditioning mask can target common signs of bleach-induced hair damage like dryness, split ends, and breakage. Plus, many of these treatments aim to strengthen hair and shield it from future damage. Try L’OrĂ©al Paris Elvive Total Repair 5 Power Restore Multi-Use Treatment.

However, if you want to color your hair at home instead of going to the salon, you will need to choose the right bleach for hair. Then you need to learn how to bleach it properly to get the results you want. Fortunately, bleaching your hair at home is easy with the right at-home bleaching equipment.

Ugly Duckling toners are very fast acting & they remove any remaining yellowness in the hair. As you can see, this model's root area is natural regrowth and it is at level 6. This is where the hair has been bleached the most often in the past.

It opens the hair cuticle so color can be deposited, but has also been linked to some not-so-nice side effects, including respiratory irritation and hair damage. If you’d rather avoid the chemical altogether, this ammonia-free formula is the way to go. It's able to lift seven levels and also contains plant oils like coconut, chia seed, and sunflower to condition and protect the scalp. This blue pick also works to fight brassy and yellow tones, and it's dust-free for safe application.

"You will also need to invest in all the proper home care. Adding a water filter to your shower is key to eliminating brassiness." Lee's favorite shower filter is the Raindrops Shower Filter. To prevent hair breakage and damage, most colorists will spread processes over a period of several days, Haight says, in order for "the hair to regain strength after each color service." "The healthier and stronger your hair is to begin with, the more beautiful the result will be," says Haight, who recommends pausing on heat styling entirely for the month leading up to your first appointment. "Heat styling makes the hair very weak and porous, which will result in a very sad looking blonde." Going platinum is a commitment in nearly every way, from the time you'll spend in your colorist's chair, to the amount of money you'll invest in the upkeep. So without properly discussing your hair goals and vision with your stylist beforehand, you're missing out on a lot of key info.

How to Dye Your Hair: Tips for Coloring Your Hair At Home

dyeing of hair

This happy accident provided the basis to create the beautiful hair color palettes that we see today. For the sake of seeing the results of your color, heat is understandably needed to dry your hair after the process is complete. But does that make it safe to continue using hot tools at home once your appointment is over? "It is definitely best to avoid heat for the first 48 hours after a color appointment," says Rae.

Alternative color

If you’re looking to add more shine to dull locks, cover gray hair (or regrowth from a previous dye job) or enhance your natural hair color, a semi-permanent should be right up your alley. It can either alter the shade from light to dark (or vice versa) completely or it can enhance your natural hue. Some hair dyes may also cover up gray hairs or refresh dull strands (due to previous color or sun exposure). In the last few years, hair gloss has been the trendy hair treatment to try both at home and at the salon. This hair dye is often mistaken for a demi-permanent color as it has similar features, including the ability to add shine, neutralize brassiness and enhance your natural hair color. A hair gloss can last for a few weeks before it starts to fade gradually.

Gorgeous Ways to Wear Partial Highlights

So whether you've been coloring your hair for decades or you're just now contemplating your first dye job, you're going to want to listen to the full episode. To get your gears going in the meantime, though, here are three of the most fascinating takeaways. There's really no maintenance needed with temporary hair dye since it washes out immediately anyway. "No matter the shade or hue, if you're dyeing at home and have severely sensitive skin, add one packet of Sweet 'N Low sugar to the dye to alleviate the drying effects of any ammonia," she says. "The acids in the Sweet 'N Low help neutralize the pH level, alleviating dryness, and skin irritation." Working with sections that are about two inches in size, apply the color and spread from root to tip using your fingers.

Less Hair Damage

Before you even attempt to dye your hair at home, always read through the instructions included in the box. While plenty of hair masks focus on replenishing moisture before being rinsed out, this innovative spray focuses on strengthening overnight. The dry formula bonds to the natural proteins inside the hair fiber, helping to reinforce it from the inside, making it a solid pick for damage control post-dye. Few things are as trying—and rewarding—as learning how to dye your hair at home. But as anyone who's done it knows, there's a reason salon appointments are so expensive. Coloring your own hair requires skill, dexterity, and a basic familiarity with science.

He also discovered that according to a 2024 report, the men’s hair dye segment is poised to grow at a rate of 9.1% by 2025. This way, you’ll cleanse the scalp where your hair needs cleansing the most. It is not ideal to scrub shampoo through the lengths of the hair which may accelerate color fade. Allowing the shampoo to rinse through the lengths with just a light massage will cleanse the hair just fine.

Tips for Applying Hair Dye

Because there’s no such thing as sunscreen for hair, “cover it up with a hat or a scarf when you’re exposed for a long period of time, such as at the beach,” he recommends. Extend your shade’s life with a shampoo or conditioner designed specifically for color-treated hair, like the GH Beauty Lab's best shampoos and conditioners for colored hair. Look for terminology such as “color protect,” “color-preserving” or “for color” on packaging. They're less likely to strip away added color (which other products may), so your new shade lasts longer. Hair color experts (and hair color packaging directions) recommend dyeing your hair when it is dry. When hair is saturated with water, the dye may not take to the hair strands or become diluted, producing an undesirable result.

If you try semi-permanent shades over naturally light hair, keep in mind that it still won’t show up quite as brightly as it would on bleached hair. Wella is one of the most popular salon hair color brands, so if you want salon results, you should give them a try. This demi-permanent formula is designed to give the hair a slight uplift, as opposed to a dramatic change. It comes in a range of natural shades to give the hair a slightly more vivid or vibrant color as well as a sheen. It’s phenomenal either to brighten your natural color or to amp up faded salon color. Finally, Beauty Lab scientists measure color change in the dyed hair samples using the VeriVide DigiEye system to determine how much each faded over time.

Pick a Color

Repeat on the other back section, clipping it out of the way once done. Pay extra attention to the hair along the nape of your neck, since this will be on full display whenever you wear your hair up. Use a handheld mirror to check the back of your head in the bathroom mirror as you color so you won’t miss spots, Hill recommends.

Hair Dyeing Process

"The more porous, the longer it will last, and as it grows out, it will also fade nicely," says Bird. "Those who henna their hair regularly find that the color builds over time, creating a more vibrant and longer-lasting color with each application." They explain everything there is to know about henna and using it on your hair. From the expectations you should set and what hair types it works best on, to how to prevent henna from staining your skin during the dying process, keep reading for our complete guide. If you can live with the dyed tip color for a little while, try using hot water and shampoo every few days to encourage the color to completely fade from your hair as fast as possible.

Rather than using a goopy salve to protect skin from dye, guard your skin against stains by gliding a clear solid lip balm along your hairline, including around your ears, before applying color. If your hair is shoulder length or longer, you may need two boxes to cover your whole head, depending on hair thickness. If you end up with a leftover box, you can always save it for next time or return it. Revlon ColorSilk got perfect scores from the Good Housekeeping Institute Beauty Lab's home hair color test. "If you have a gray headband along your hairline, get a semipermanent dye and only color that area," says colorist Rita Hazan, the founder of Rita Hazan Salon in New York City. It may mean working strand by strand, adds Robinson, who suggests using an eye shadow brush for extra precision.

Studying exposure to hair dyes from decades ago may not be the same as studying current exposures. In fact, many studies classify personal hair dye use based on whether it took place before or after 1980. Although women may go crazy for 50 shades of gray, most guys prefer to relegate grays to the back bench.

For hair that's just a little too pale, choose the next shade darker than the one you started with, and apply it only on the areas you think are too faint, Jennifer recommends. Leave the color on for half the time indicated on the box, and keep checking to make sure it doesn't go too far. It's generally safe to color your hair at home as long as you closely follow the directions for the products you're using. That being said, colorist Lauren Grummel notes that both your end goal and the condition of your hair should be taken into consideration before you pick up a box dye kit at the drugstore. “The sun works like bleach, breaking down not only artificial color but also the melanin that gives natural hair its pigment,” says James Corbett, Clairol color director in New York City. So UV protection is just as important for your hair as for your skin.

Unless you're a professional, combining multiple different shades of hair color is not recommended (ever!). None of the major companies we spoke to would guarantee that the resulting color would be a predictable combination. In fact, even when you stick with a single color, the result usually varies slightly from what's pictured on the box. Your best bet is to simply pick one shade and follow the instructions to the letter, strand test included. Coloring your hair at-home can be challenging, especially if you're doing it all on your own.

Don't use hot tools after dyeing your hair

The natural oils on your scalp actually serve as a protective barrier to guard against irritation from the chemicals in the hair dye, so you want them there before you apply dye. "This will irritate your scalp and can become painful. The hair should be clean of product but not of your natural oils, as it acts as a protectant." Going darker is easier than going lighter, and any colors you apply to your hair will appear more intense. If you do decide you want to go lighter, make sure to choose a dye that lets you know by how many levels it can lighten your hair.

Part your hair down the middle, going all the way down the back of your head and effectively splitting your hair into left and right sides. Then, starting about midway down your part, use your comb to create another section that goes from your part, down the back of your ear and to the ends of your hair. The hair developer you choose will depend on your hair type, hair quality, and the degree of lightning. Most beauty supply stores sell developers beginning at 10 volume, which is typically suitable for depositing hair color that is a similar shade (or a bit darker) than your current hair color. If you are looking to lift your hair a few levels or need to cover gray hairs, go with 20 volume.

Maintaining Your Color

You most likely will be using semi-permanent dye to color your hair. This dye fades within 6 weeks if you aren’t washing it often, but can fade as early as 3 to 4 weeks if you use shampoo on it regularly. Waiting for the dye to fade is probably the simplest way to get rid of dyed hair tips. Hot water has a tendency to open the cuticles of your hair, allowing pigments to slip out.

Coverage

If there’s a style you want to try out but aren’t sure about how it will look on you, you can easily experiment by dyeing the tips of your hair. Doing this can let you try out different colors and styles and help you decide if you want to commit yourself to a full head of hair that is dyed a particular color. If you are trying to get a bright red color but are applying it to light brown hair, the color may come out darker and less vibrant. If your chosen dye is a darker color, chances are you can apply it directly to your natural hair, no matter the color of it, and have it turn out fairly well. The dye color that you choose is another important thing to factor in when coloring your hair tips. If you choose a very light pastel color, you will need to have light hair in order for the color to show up as vibrantly as possible.

Hair Color 101: Everything You Need to Know Before Dyeing Your Hair

Hair dye on tile floors and toilet seats can be difficult, if not impossible to remove. Sulfate-free shampoos may not lather as well, but rest assured that they are cleansing your hair just as well. Now, when you’ve figured out your skin undertone, it’s time to reaffirm your conclusions and find out what hues will look best on you. However, two-tone colorings are made not only with pastel or bright colors. If that’s the case, be sure to read up on the 5 Questions to Ask Yourself Before Getting a New Haircut.

Dyeing your hair at home might occasionally be the only option, as it was during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. That being said, some people make mistakes when they are dyeing their own hair. While we’re on the topic of hair damage, you should also base how often you dye your hair with the amount of hair damage you have.

Apply Color in Sections

The one will know the intricacies of lightening hair and will remove yellowish tones in your blonde with the help of toner rather than apply hasher bleach or keep it longer. A professional colorist can also determine a color treatment that takes many factors into account that you may not even know about. They can make your natural shade shine with a subtle, yet powerful, boost.

Manic Panic is one of the original fashion hair color brands from back in the days when colorful hair was only for punks and self-proclaimed freaks. Nowadays, the brand still has the same punk aesthetic, but the colors themselves have been developed beautifully. Temporary dyes only reach the outer layers of the hair shaft and often wash away with one shampoo wash. Hair coloring can also be applied on the scalp for a more solid level of coverage.

After your hair is dry, if you're unhappy with the color, you can mute it by applying a deep conditioner to damp hair. Leave on for 20 minutes (at 10 minutes, blast your head with a blow-dryer), then shampoo and condition your hair. If you're still not happy with your shade, well, it looks like you'll have to head to a salon when you can. After you've mastered the above dyeing hair tips, you may be curious about post-color care.

If it’s one of the first four ingredients for your product, steer clear. Sodium lauryl sulfate cleanses well but strips hair of natural oils, protein, and peptides, which can take a toll on hair health. Sodium laureth sulfate is a gentler cleanser, although both may cause allergies. Although the look works best on longer hair, as it gives enough room for the color to gradually melt from the roots to the tips, there are a lot of successful examples of short ombre-ed hair.

If you do use the wrong developer, your hair color can end up being the wrong shade, spotty, or uneven. One of the biggest hair dye mistakes you can make is dyeing your hair when it is already damaged. Dyeing your damaged, dry, split end-riddled hair with chemicals will only damage your hair further. Keep in mind that using hair dye from a box is less expensive than dyeing your hair at a salon because boxed hair dye is formulated stronger than the kind you would find at a salon.

If your hair is super curly or coils, you may have a lot of hair but not a lot of visible lengths. Straightened out, your strands may be at shoulder length, but when it dries, you’ll lose a lot of length. When it comes to 6-inch hair, a balanced hair care routine is crucial. The length is long enough to require regular conditioning but short enough to minimize the risk of breakage. For those with 6-inch hair male or 6-inch hair men, a lightweight conditioner and a nourishing hair oil can go a long way.

Hair Toppers - Human Hair Toppers

In this article, we’ll delve into these questions and more, providing you with all the information you need to understand and visualize the length of six inches of hair. Some over-the-counter supplements make hair grow much faster and are available in drugstores. They’re not overnight fixes, but Viviscal, for example, is tried and tested as a safe supplement that helps trigger hair growth. Your hair follicles have cells (called pigment cells) that make melanin, a chemical that gives your hair (and eyes and skin) color. Fewer pigment cells result in lighter hair growing in various shades of gray, silver, and eventually white.

6 inches in hair

Oftentimes, we visit our hair stylist to give us a cut without knowing the exact length we want. It gets disappointing when the result isn’t what we envisioned about the cut. Pin-straight hair has no folds or waves, so it can hang straight down, unimpeded.

6 inches of hair is a moderate length that falls around the shoulders or slightly below. From tips on how to grow six inches of hair in just two months to determining if you can donate that length, we’ve got you covered. That’s where a hair length chart comes in to help you best understand the differences in length and types. At the salon, you may end up with hair that’s shorter or longer than you anticipated.

However, this growth rate can vary from person to person due to various factors such as genetics, diet, overall health, and hair care practices. In addition to affecting length, hair type, density, and health can significantly influence the overall appearance of 6 inches of hair. Hair type refers to the texture of the hair, such as straight, wavy, curly, or coily. For example, 6 inches of straight hair may appear longer compared to 6 inches of curly hair, which tends to shrink when dry. Stylists argue that this is one of the most sought-after hair lengths. The hair length for an armpit-length cut ranges from 18 to 20 inches (45-50 cm). Short hair is a general category that describes any hairstyle where your hair will fall above your shoulders. This often makes less than 12 inches for straight hair and up to 18 inches for curls. This way, short hair ranges from a buzzcut to pixie (ear-length hair), bob (chin-length hair), and long bob or lob style (shoulder-length hair). This style is perfect for individuals who prefer low-maintenance hairstyles and appreciate a variety of styling options.

Some people are genetically predisposed to have longer hair, while others may struggle with shorter hair length. However, the appearance of 6 inches of hair can vary depending on factors such as genetics, age, and overall health. Maybe you’re looking at getting a precise haircut, or you’re looking at getting a wig or extensions.

No matter what the circumstances, hair measurements are helpful in all areas of hairstyling. Length is just as important as color or texture, but it’s not something we pay enough mind to understand. Hair’s length doesn’t come down to exact numbers, but the short, medium, and long classifications we have been using are not working. By measuring hair based on body proportions, we get a more accurate picture of where hair will fall, making for better communication between hair professionals and clients.

Mad Max

The house on Broderick Street was out of the media limelight from 1995, when Full House ended, until 2016, when Fuller House started airing. It was always a popular tourist attraction, but once the Netflix reboot hit the screens, even more fans started flocking to see the house – to the despair of the neighbors. In real life, you’ll find the Full House house — which also featured in the Netflix revival, Fuller House — at 1709 Broderick Street in San Francisco. And we were all lucky to get a chance to relive that once Saget reprised his role as Danny, the caring, compassionate TV host/neat freak, in Netflix’s Fuller House.

Rocki tells Jackson that she is in love with him too and they kiss. As the wedding approaches, wedding guests appear, including Matt, Gia, C.J. And Rose, Duane, Viper, and Vicky, who is still friends with Danny. The girls are shocked upon learning Danny was able to get Joey McIntyre to officiate the wedding.

‘Fuller House’ has been one of the most successful reboots of a sitcom in a long time, and this is a show you might not want to miss out on. Though the reboot began with mixed responses, it has since then managed to win over fans and critics alike. The outside of the Tanner home which is often shown as the establishing shot is a house located in San Francisco itself. The exact location of the house is 1709 Broderick Street in Lower Pacific Heights. Interestingly enough a similar house was constructed on the Warner Brothers’ lot during the reboot of the series, but the makers stuck to using the older shots from the original series. Later, Jeff Franklin, the creator of the series, ended up buying the house and the new establishing shots were then comfortably filmed by the crew.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

Joey has moved to Las Vegas in Fuller House and is now married with four kids that he refers to as the Gladstone Four. After botching the advice about his kids at the time when Joey was attending Thanksgiving, Kimmy was able to get it right during the Gladstone Four's next visit where Joey finally got them to behave or else they won't be going to Disneyland. Joey and the Gladstone Four move back to San Francisco since his wife will be working as a magician on a cruise ship for six months. Joey quits his job in season six's "Radio Days," after he becomes disgruntled with his boss Mr. Strowbridge's wife as his co-host. Jesse and Joey subsequently become co-hosts of a successful afternoon show on radio station KFLH called, Rush Hour Renegades. Besides his impressions, much of Joey's humor comes from his depiction as a man child, particularly the fact that he still watches cartoons as an adult and has an extensive knowledge of animation.

The next day, before the wedding starts, Kimmy tells D.J. That Steve was the one who heard what she said on the plane. At the altar, Steve calls off the wedding, and D.J.

Meanwhile, Joey takes away the kids' electronics and instead has the kids involved in some mischievous, messy fun. Pamela (portrayed by Madilynn Jefferson and McKenzie Jefferson) is the adoptive daughter of Jesse and Becky. Tommy Fuller, Jr. (portrayed by Dashiell and Fox Messitt) is D.J.'s youngest son. Like his aunt Michelle, he also loses a parent as a baby, and is played by twins.

Denise, like Teddy before her, often gets Michelle into trouble. In the season seven episode "Be Your Own Best Friend," Teddy moves back to San Francisco, leaving Michelle to choose between him and Denise for whom to serve as her best friend. Danny makes her understand that it is possible to have more than one best friend.

Jackson auditioned for a small part in the school play originally just to get out of gym class but discovered that he can sing, and gets the lead role instead. However, there is bad news for the reunited couple when the Lakers want Steve to be their foot specialist. He declines the job to stay with D.J., but she calls the team to say he will take the job. Steve tells her they will be back together in six months. In season four, after a few months on the job with the Lakers, Steve quits and moves back home so he can be with D.J.

Jackson is named the player of the week after kicking his team to the state semifinals, but as he feels the pressure he begins to limp. Elsewhere, Jesse attends his first daddy/daughter class and has to deal with hipster dads. All this occurs as DJ is planning a gender reveal party for Stephanie even though Stephanie and Jimmy aren't sure they want to know the gender of their baby. After watching Max's "unboxing" videos, DJ decides he should change his focus from video to running for school president, but it could lead to a feud as his girlfriend Rose will be his opponent.
